This is the highest level of the Anglia Examinations taught at the institute. This is a 3-hour weekly course, combined with a 60-minute weekly speaking course, which aims to prepare students for the Anglia Proficiency Exam. At the end of the year, students will undertake the Proficiency Exam, which includes reading, writing, listening as well as oral assessments. The speaking course is obligatory, and students are obliged to undertake speaking exam in addition to the reading/writing/listening exam. Separate certificates are awarded to the successful candidates.
N.B. A number of universities and colleges around the world, as well as companies, accept the Proficiency Certificate as a form of evidence for the candidate’s competence of the English Language. Provided that candidates have obtained both the Reading/Writing (Academic)/Listening and Speaking Certificates, they can use them in their university applications.
